Playing together for over twelve years, The Naked Eye has been very active on both the L.A. and Orange County music scenes and recently received an Orange County Music Award. The Naked Eye began as an acoustic duo and gradually grew into a full five-piece band. Their music consists of many originals and covers ranging from pop/folk to rock to bluegrass to blues. Don's unique and innovative approach to the guitar combined with Michele's powerful vocal styling make for a memorable evening of professional entertainment. The Naked Eye released their first full length CD entitled Speed of Sound in 2000. In 2004, The Naked Eye released their follow-up CD Along The Way. In 2006, The Naked Eye received an Orange County Music Award in the Best Folk Music category for That Barstool Song from the Along the Way CD. The Naked received a nomination in 2007 from the Inland Empire Music Awards for Best Pop. Recently, Don released his debut CD as a solo artist entitled Well, To Begin With... Don has received his third Orange County Music Award nomination for Best Instrumentalist.

The debut CD, Better Than Silence, a limited release of originals and covers, the Speed of Sound,  Along The Way , and Well, To Begin With... are available at live performances and through this website. The Naked Eye can be seen at venues including The Coach House, The Press, and Borders Books and Music. The Naked Eye can be booked as a full band for larger venues or, for smaller more intimate venues, can be booked as an acoustic group as well.
